We focus on providing you with constant exposure to spoken, real life language at school and after classes In order to ensure the maximum effects in the shortest time we have created the optimal conditions for learning English. Our offer includes:

Our primary goal is to make you communicate in English fluently and naturally. No other language is spoken within the school area. All your classes require active participation in group tasks, conversations and interactive games. Although all four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing are practiced, we put special emphasis on developing your ability to express yourself in clear, comprehensive speech.

At EI Language Centre, we do not give you the usual placement tests. Most written tests do not reflect your actual knowledge. Unlike other schools, we conduct personal interviews with each student. Our Academic Director asks you questions about your education, career plans, interests and favourite study techniques. All this information is used to modify the program and make it fit your needs. You also have a chance to express your preferences in terms of program content. Part of this interview is videotaped for you to compare your communication skills before you start your course and after you finish it.

In order to ensure maximum teacher's attention for each student we do not enrol more than 10 students in a class. The average class holds 6 to 8 students. This way you can enjoy all the group activities and still have a lot of time to interact with your teacher personally.

Private consultations

We understand that all your concerns may not be solved within the class time. This is why our Program Director is available for private consultations during her office hours every Monday and Friday. You can book your time and have your questions answered in one to one sessions.

The Resource Centre-
Computer Lab

We have created a library of teaching materials for your and your instructors' use. Dictionaries, encyclopaedias, manuals, books, audio and video tapes, computer interactive multimedia programs, magazines - anything that can help you improve your English and expand your knowledge. You will also have full access to the high speed Internet.

Our lunch break is a whole hour long. We made it so students from different classes could have an opportunity to spend some time together with each other and the teachers. Coffee, tea and occasional treats are provided. We have a microwave for students who wish to heat up their lunches. You can ask questions, make suggestions, listen to music or tell jokes, even play a game. The relaxed atmosphere during the lunch break helps you open up and practice your English in a casual setting.

Internship Placement

We offer internship/voluntary placement service to students who are interested in complementing their studies with hands-on experience, working after classes. All placements are voluntary - students do not receive payment for their work but they gain valuable experience and develop their language proficiency further. The placement is available to all students who request it at the time or registration. Although we will make every effort to place students according to their professional interest, we cannot guarantee a placement within specific areas.
